        UDAYAGIRI AND KHANDAGIRI CAVES , formally called KATTAKA CAVES OR CUTTACK CAVES , are partly artificial caves of archaeological , historical and religious importance near the city of Bhubaneswar in Odisha in India .
       The caves are situated on two adjacent hills , UDAYAGIRI AND KHANDAGIRI mentioned as KUMARI PARVATA in the HATHIGUMPHA INSCRIPTION ....
       The cave was built at 1st century of BCE ... The cave was made and formed by SANDSTONE .... KING KHARVELA has built this caves . The king has abode of JAINA ASCETICS ...
